1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using https://derelan.org (the “Website”) and purchasing products from Derelan LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Refund & Return Policy, and Privacy Policy. To complete your order, you must check the mandatory checkbox at checkout stating:

2. Billing Terms

  • One-Time Sale Only: All purchases on derelan.org are single, non-recurring transactions. There are no automatic subscriptions, monthly fees, or hidden charges. You pay only for the selected copyright-free international books, plus applicable shipping costs and taxes.
  • Billing Description: Charges on your payment statement will appear as derelan.org to clearly identify your purchase.
  • Payment Requirements: Full payment is required at checkout to process your order. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and popular digital payment methods. Failed or delayed payments may result in order cancellation.

3. Product & Order Terms

  • Product Descriptions: We strive to provide accurate details (title, author, edition, condition) and images for all copyright-free books. Minor variations in cover design, formatting, or print quality may occur due to the nature of international and vintage titles.
  • Order Processing: Orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order is dispatched.
  • Order Cancellations: You may cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase by emailing dawit@derelan.org. After 24 hours, orders cannot be canceled as they will have entered the fulfillment process.
  • Product Availability: We reserve the right to cancel orders for out-of-stock books and issue full refunds. We will notify you promptly if this occurs.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate shipping and billing information to ensure timely delivery of your books.
  • Review product specifications (e.g., edition, condition) carefully before purchasing, as exchanges are subject to our 30-day Refund & Return Policy.
  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery if you receive the wrong book, damaged item, or missing order.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Derelan LLC’s total liability for any claims related to your purchase is limited to the total amount paid for the specific book(s) in question.
  • We are not liable for indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, or missed deadlines, unless such damages result from our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  • We are not responsible for issues arising from improper handling, storage, or damage to books after delivery.

6. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Any disputes arising from your use of the Website or purchase of products will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Arapahoe County, Colorado.
